About Me

Graduated with a BA in art and MA in Public Administration.  Worked 16 years for City of Oakland; the last 5 years as a Public Art Administrator.  (during this time started showing my paintings).  Took early retirement and moved to Oregon in 2005 where I began persuing my interest in figurative sculpture.  I work primarily in mid to high fire clay with experience in raku, saggard and open pit firing.  Taking Lori's class in Sedona made a big difference in my work.  Clay work keeps me sane in these long wet winters of Oregon.  I do love figerclay!!
