My Sculpture Class

I finally jumped. I am a full time artist.  This is how I make my living. 

Last winter a good friend of mine told me that I am better at getting ready to jump than anyone he has ever met.  I had just gone back to teaching full time and was once again planning as to how I would be the full time artist that I have been planning and longing to be since my now 18 year old daughter was 1.

Well, he was right.  I inspired others to do it, I planned how I could, I did it a little bit.  But I was afraid to jump,,,to really jump.

Well, My daughter graduated from high school and I decided now is the time.  I quit everything that was standing in the way.  My marriage. My job. My old ways of thinking. My old life. I am the happiest I have ever been.
